Description: The icon depicts the mystery of baptism of St. Nicholas, the future Archbishop of Myra Lycia. In Russia the saint was called St. Nicholas the Miracle-worker. Academic style of painting. Especially rare subject.
The icon was located in a private collection of a Petersburg family who fled to Estonia after 1917th revolution.
